This page explains how Bandwagon uses sources, how Julio is built into the experience, and how corrections should work.
Quick Version
Bandwagon summarizes and organizes the sports day, links to original reporting, and uses Julio as an AI-assisted layer rather than pretending every sentence is original reporting.
Sourcing
Bandwagon’s homepage, article pages, player cards, and Julio answers are designed to keep source links visible so users can reach the original reporting or data source directly.
Bandwagon should not present itself as the original reporter of outside stories it is curating or summarizing.
AI Use
Julio is used to summarize, contextualize, personalize, and answer sports questions using current data, current links, and Bandwagon’s own product logic.
Julio is not a replacement for original reporting, official league announcements, or direct source verification.
Images
Bandwagon aims to use article images when they are available and reliable for the linked story. If an article image is wrong, weak, or not safely usable, Bandwagon may prefer an official roster or league/player image, or show no image at all.
Bandwagon should not knowingly use misleading visuals that depict the wrong player, team, or event.
Corrections
If a headline, image, player card, or Julio answer is wrong, the goal is to correct it quickly, especially when the issue changes the substance of the sports information shown to users.

Copyright
Source linking is good product practice, but it does not by itself grant rights to display outside publisher photos, thumbnails, or protected editorial media.
Before a broad public launch, Bandwagon should review image usage, feed terms, and any publisher or league licensing restrictions that apply to thumbnails and photos shown on the site.
DMCA
If Bandwagon later allows user-posted content, uploads, comments, or community submissions, the operator should publish a proper DMCA policy and designate a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office before turning those features on.
